Your Happy Five
Hi everyone! My name is Denis Skorbilin, and I’ve just released my very own game, “The Pentacle of Happiness.” I’ve been thinking for a long time about what happiness really means for a person. After forty years under our beautiful sun, I haven’t come to understand many things, to be honest. But the few that I have, I’m convinced are true:
- Happiness isn’t a point on a map that you can “reach” once and stay in forever.
- Happiness is a process — a balance between all the areas of life, when every need is met at least somewhat and nothing hurts. You don’t need to chase the ideal; you need to keep the balance.
I made this game to illustrate my idea, because an immersive experience is worth more than a thousand beautiful words. Try playing “The Pentacle of Happiness,” keep the balance between life’s areas, live through pieces of my experience mixed with imagination — and then you’ll understand how I live. How I accept my own limits, meet failures, and enjoy successes. And perhaps after playing you’ll take an interest in the wheel of life balance — a tool devised by the American coach Paul J. Meyer that uses a similar approach.
And I also truly hope “The Pentacle of Happiness” helps you have a good time. Enjoy the game!
